Front Door Repaint

Our town home is over ten years old and is in need of a few exterior upgrades. The first project I’d like to tackle is the front door. As you can see from the photo below (pictured left), the paint is peeling and the salty air has worn away most of the color.

Because of the natural brick on the bottom half of front of the house, I am leaning toward painting the door red. My color of choice is “Woodland Strawberry” from the HGTV HOME collection for Sherwin Williams (pictured right).

I’d also like to update the door handle to coordinate with all of the interior door knobs which have a satin nickel finish. I’m torn between these two handles:

As a finishing touch, I am planning on purchasing a new doormat. Here are a few options I am considering from Target:
